Reading Promotion in Sweden

15:00-15.45 The project Arts of reading is presented by Sylvia Blomberg, Library Consultant, Örebro County, and Tinne Wennerholm, Library Consultant, Gävleborg County. The project describes how to establish different kinds of houses of literature for children and ways to participate and create in reading promotion activities.

16:00-16:30 Give me five, a project about how to explore and deepen the work with picture books and preschool children, Gunilla Brink, library consultant, Västerbotten.

17:00-17:45 Accessible media and an including children's library service. Jenny Nilsson Children's Librarian Swedish Agency for Accessible Media.

18:00- 18:45 Trends and Tendencies in Swedish books for children and young adults, Åsa Warnqvist, scholar and public relations officer at The Swedish Institute for Children's Books.

After every seminar there will be time for discussion and questions.
